OUR FREE WATER ANALYSIS SERVICEOne of our favorite services we offer is providing a water analysis for our customers and helping them balance the chemicals in their pool or spa. It is so much fun for us to see and interact with our customers on a frequent basis! If you have never been to our store and gotten your water tested, this is what it entails.
We request that you at least bring the amount of water that this size of bottle will hold. We would be happy to provide you with the bottle you see here. Just ask us when you come in! *NOTE: No Pickle Jars please! The acid will remain even after washed out and will distort the test.* Please reach down elbow deep to get your water sample. Skimming the top of the water will not give you accurate test results. |

Once we have all of your information we will then enter it into our computer system, and only need your name along with water clarity any time you come after that. The water analysis system we use is a computerized professional pool photometer that directly measures the seven primary tests of Free Chlorine (DPD), Total Chlorine (DPD), Bromine (DPD), pH, Alkalinity, Calcium Hardness, and Cyanuric Acid. It also tests Copper, Iron, Salt and Phosphate levels in addition to the primary chemicals.
Your results will then be printed along with step by step instructions of the quantity of chemicals that are needed and how they need to be added to the pool. We will go over it all with you and answer any questions that you have.
Our computerized system will store all of your pool information, tests and results so that if we need to look back at them in the future, we can.
Chlorine Pools should be tested weekly.
Salt Pools should be tested every 2-3 weeks.
We also test Spa Water!
